Feed Me, Seymour!

Welcome to Taroandti.com. While I’ve been involved with plants from childhood, from growing my own large agave as a 5 year old to managing my parent’s garden as a young teen, I think the one thing that defninitively set me on the solid path of plant mania is carnivorous plants. And I don’t mean those little over-priced Venus Flytraps at the grocer stuck on a window-sill to slowly die - I got serious. Plant lights, collected rain-water, special pots, live spagnum - the works.

This site will give me an opportunity to share my experiences with these finicky but extremely fun plants, from Venus Flytraps, to Sarracenia, to various Nepenthes. These are the few plants that don’t produce food that I’m interested in, if anything for the shear irony in that with these plants, it’s plant-eat-bug.
